How many hours constitute a "day rate" rental?   Our "day rate" gives you a full 24 hours from the time you rent our equipment until the time you return it.

What do you mean by the "Overnite" rate?   Our overnite rate is a special 3-4 hour rental rate from the last hour of business to the first hour of business the following morning.

Do you have a minimum charge on your propane sales?   We have no minimum charge on our propane sales

What constitutes a "week rate" rental?   On most of our equipment a week rate rental would be applied after the equipment has been rented out for three consecutive days or more. This rate gives you a full 7 days with the equipment.

Do you deliver?   We absolutely deliver. Delivery rates will depend on your destination.

What required information is needed to rent from you?   We require a valid drivers license. With some of our equipment we will need a copy of vehicle registration. We also request payment is made up front.

  Party Specific Questions

How long are you party rentals for the given price?   Most of our party rentals are for 48 hours. The price given is the same regardless if you have it for 24 or 48 hours. For instance, pick up day before and return day after.

Do you charge for delivery and pick up?   We do offer delivery and pick-up service for our customers. The fee for this service is dependent on the location of event. This fee include both delivery and pick-up. The initial delivery fee is for delivery and/or pick-up during regular business hours; Mon-Sat 8a.m.-6p.m., Sun 9a.m.-3p.m. (seasonal). Delivery and/or pick-up outside of regular business hours will be an additional charge. When we come to your house to pick up the rented items, they need to be stacked in the same fashion from delivery. This will assist the drivers in picking up your items in a speedy manner.

If you deliver, do you set up all items?   If you have a canopy, staging or dance floor we will set up at no additional charge to you. Table and chair setup is additional; the fee is $35.00 per man/per hour. Take down is also additional. It helps if it is arranged ahead of time if you would like us to set-up or take down your items.

Do your require a deposit?   We do require a 30% deposit. This amount will be due at time of reservation. The amount you put down will ensure that your items are held for your event. The remainder of your balance is due before the date of you event. In the event that you cancel your reservation this 30% is non-refundable.

When should I have all changes made to my order?   All changes should be made at least 48 hours before date of pick-up or delivery. If you need to change (add) linens we need at least a week before event, so we can ensure that we have them cleaned. If less than a week on adding linens to order we can not guarantee we will have the specific size or color you will need.

Do I need to clean all items before returning back to Brown Rental?   We ask that our customers at least rinse off items used and placed back in the containers they were taken out of. Linens should be placed in a garbage sack with the hangers they come on. There will be an additional charge for extensive cleaning if needed.

What doesn't the damage waiver cover?   Damage waiver does not cover bronken/missing dishes or damaged linens. Full replacement cost will apply in this event. Please inform a Brown Rental employee if there are excessive stains on linens.

What types of things will not come out of linens?   Chocolate, wax and ink. Red wine and most food items will come out during cleaning.

If we are getting a canopy, how are they held down?   If you are having a canopy delivered for your event, please let us know if you would prefer water weights or stakes to hold down the canopy. Water weights are an additional charge. The water weights are Blue 55 gallon barrels, we do rent covers for them that are white. If stakes would work please make sure you know where your sprinklers and any other underground lines are before we deliver.

When do I need to have things returned if I pick them up?   If you are picking up items from our store please return the items during regular business hours, within 48 hours of rental. Please verify our hours if you are unsure when we are open on certain days.

If I have my items delivered, where do I place them to be picked up?   If rental items are going to be left outside overnight, please make sure items are protected from sprinklers and/or inclement weather. Customer will be charged for extensive cleaning and/or ruined items due to weather. Also make sure items left outside are secure from being stolen. Customer will be charged for items missing.
